Ray Johnstone is a professional artist and art teacher. His studio and gallery are located in the small village of Mézin in southwest France.
Ray paints mainly in watercolour and acrylics. His work is held in collections all over the world, including America, Australia, England, France, Hong Kong and South Africa. The subjects include paintings he has done in France and Australia, portraits, flowers, copies of famous artists work and many others.
All of them are for sale, and they have all been selected with a view to delivering them to your address wherever you live.

Step 1
Email me.
If you are interested in any of the paintings displayed on this site, simply send me an email, quoting the name of the painting. Please also include YOUR full name, postal address, and telephone number. I will confirm receipt immediately - usually within two working days - unless we are away, in which case I'll inform you about the possible delay - and provide you with all the details you need to transfer the payment.

Step 2
Payment. You can choose to pay by transferring the full amount into our bank. Your painting will be despatched as soon as the payment arrives.
OR
You can post a cheque.
Please note that the cheque will be cleared before the painting is shipped.
Important Notes:
1. Quality and Value. I use only the highest quality artists materials.
2. There are no agent or gallery fees.
3. The cost of all paintings includes packing, postage, tracking and insurance.
4. Packing.
* Water colour paintings on paper are sent in a sturdy cardboard tube.
* Acrylic paintings on stretched canvasses or on board have had several coatings of acrylic varnish applied. This makes them very durable. They are securely wrapped in cardboard for posting.
* Paintings on unstretched canvas are rolled in protective paper and posted in sturdy cardboard tubes.
The cost of all postage, packing, tracking and insurance is included in the price.
5. All paintings will be despatched by La Poste de France from Mézin. The cost is included in the price.
6. Delivery time. If you pay by transfer to my bank in France, I will despatch the painting immediately. If you pay by cheque, I will despatch the painting as soon as the cheque is cleared.
7. Confirmation of despatch is confirmed by email with full details including a tracking number.
8. Insurance. All items are insured during transit to cover damage or non-delivery. The cost is included in the price.
9. Duties. If duty is payable in the country the painting is sent to, this is the responsibility of the purchaser.

| I specialise painting children from photographs. An unframed portrait like the one above will cost you 250 Euros . Size: 30 x 40 cms. Please send a good quality photo and I'll get back to you with my comments. A larger size (50 x 70 cms) , like the one below is 400 Euros for a painting on board (or canvas, rolled up and posted in a tube). All prices include postage, tracking and insurance. |
